Six Sigma Training

We have two Six Sigma e-learning courses; Introduction to Six Sigma and Six Sigma Tools and Techniques.

The Introduction to Six Sigma training package is aimed at those who are new to Six Sigma, or require an overview of Six Sigma. Lasting approximately 2 hours, it touches on Six Sigma concepts, Green & Black belts, the need for Six Sigma, Process Metrics, Cost of poor quality and DMAIC amongst others. Like all of our courses within the area of Lean Sigma and Project Management, this course is available over the internet.

Six Sigma Tools & Techniques is aimed at Six Sigma yellow belts and Six Sigma green belts explaining how Six Sigma is used. This course is divided into the 5 Six Sigma phases (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control) and teaches Six Sigma tools such as Stratification, Pareto Analysis, Scatter Diagrams, Designed Experiments and a wide range of other Six Sigma tools, and lasts between 12 to 14 hours.

Introduction to Lean Training

This newly released course provides students with a clear understanding of the concepts and benefits of Lean Thinking along with the approach to implementing Lean effectively within an organisation. It is approximately 2 hours in duration and is designed as an awareness course for all.

The course comes complete with audio, animations, exercises, case studies and tests. There is also a certificate that students can print directly from the course following successful completion of all tests.

This course is an ideal compliment to existing classroom/workshop events offering a blended approach to any Lean Thinking training programme. The implementation of this type of learning will benefit all staff within a business, giving everyone an overview of the area in a clear and concise manner.

The course is accessible either from Future Learning Systems web portal or from any other SCORM Learning Management System used by our customers.

Future Learning Systems can customise and brand the course to more precisely match customer requirements and case studies, should it be preferred.

Process Improvement Training

The Process Analysis e-learning course teaches the skills required to solve problems and design new processes. In continuous improvement, (Six Sigma or otherwise) a good knowledge is necessary of the tools and techniques of continuous improvement or quality improvement.

This generic course provides about 8-10 hours of training, and covers areas such as Matrix Diagrams, Flowcharts, Control Charts and Cause & Effect diagrams. This course is due to be ported onto a web based platfrom for use over the internet and is currently only availble in CD format for use on standalone PC's or network servers.
